As of July 5, 2006, alli-bags will no longer be taking special orders.*

While I've enjoyed working with many of you to design bags that are distinctly YOU, I have discovered that this part of my business is about to sink my ship!

Special orders take massive amounts of extra time to search for that perfect combination of fabrics and trims. All too often, these special fabrics are only available online at exorbitant prices. Compound those dollar signs with the additional shipping costs required, and I've lost money before I've made a
single stitch!

Since I first jumped into the internet cyber-swamp, my life has changed drastically! You dear, dear humans have helped all my dreams come true. With so many orders coming in, I’ve had little time for anything but sewing and design. Well, that’s not entirely true . . .

I have managed to introduce a new line, called Signature Alli's! Click here to read all about them! To help launch the Signature Alli's, we held a contest! Bestselling author Kristin Billerbeck (www.kristinbillerbeck.com) graciously donated not one, but TWO of her award winning chick-lit series for the winners of our contest. WOW!


Here’s my “assistant” Diane Moody (right) presenting Kristin (left) with her own Ashley Stockingdale alli-bag at the American Christian Fiction Writers (ACFW) conference last September.


Our two lucky winners received the entire three-book Ashley Stockingdale series, including What a Girl Wants, She’s Out of Control, and With This Ring I’m Confused. Ashley is one smart cookie, take it from me. As she says, “All I want is a cute Christian guy who doesn’t live with his mother — and maybe a Prada handbag.”

I GOT MARRIED!

And it made headlines all over, which is amazing because it was a private wedding with only our closest friends and family!


But oh, what a happy, happy day! We had a divine honeymoon in the Florida Everglades. Izzy travels a lot so we have to make the most of our time together . . . which leads me to my next announcement . . .

I’M PREGGERS!

In just a couple of months, we’ll be welcoming up to 50 new little ones into our nest!
(Note to self: start picking out names...)

And what better way to spread the joy than to create a whole new line of little designer bags in honor of my sweet babies?

We’re calling them alli-babies and they're finally available! Oh my goodness, are they darling! Dainty little bags made in the sweetest prints. I just know you’re going to love them!

And now you must excuse me as I waddle off to check on my little reptilian angels!

P.S. My babies will be born in about 2 months, producing hatchlings about 6 inches long. My brood, called a pod, will be coddled and protected by me for about a year. Mama alligators are, after all, among the most nurturing reptiles!
